Kelli is taking 2 different art classes this year and one of them is painting. She has always told me she couldn't paint, but I think she's awesome. So does her teacher. Anyway, she had a project due Friday, but she talked the teacher into letting her turn it in on Tuesday, because she had a little more she wanted to do to the picture.
Here she is working in her room
Here you can actually see her working on the painting. The top is a photo from the internet and the bottom is her painting. Here it is after it's finished showing both the picture and her painting. Here she is working in her room
Here's a close-up of the painting. If you click on the picture you can enlarge it to really see it better.
Now, I have no intention of asking if a mother can be proud, because this mother is very proud of her daughter and her awesome talent!

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I have visited your site. I love your personal outlook. I need to put it into practice also. I love hopping from one Christian blog to another because they really inspire me to believe in myself. I have started a "Christian" blog, but it is still maturing. I've only been blogging since September, and when I see Blogs like yours, Free Spirit and others, I feel so inadequate. The precious followers I have keep telling me to hold on and don't get discouraged, but I want so much to make a difference, by touching hearts like y'all do. Everytime I come across a blog like your and the others like it, I just tear up because they touch me som much.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is a beautiful girl with a beautiful talent. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.
Come by and chat with me some time.

This is awesome. She has always had a art in her blood. Great job, I'm sure the teacher will love it.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Michaels didn't seem to have what I was looking for. J and I made some ornaments..mine looks like a land mine.. it's heavy too. we were kidding that it will pull the tree over.
You have every right to be proud, that painting is very beautiful... she definitely has a talent and should practice her painting as much as she can!
