Welcome once again to Tuesday 4 begun by Toni Taddeo and kept alive in her memory.
Let's discuss the weather...
1. Spring is here. What do you like or dislike about it weather wise? I love spring because of all the flowers starting to bloom, including the dandelions (I like them while they are yellow).
2. How do you fare in humidity? Do you fade or come alive ? I do not do well with humidity, I mean my hair. For sure my hair fades! Just take a look at me in the pictures (in previous posts) at my daughter's wedding. lol
3. Do rainy days bother you or are you happy for an occasional break from the sunshine? I prefer sunshine, but I know we need rain too, so I'm okay with it as long as I don't have to be out in it too much.
4. In your opinion, what is the best thing about each season? Spring - the flowers. Summer - fresh fruit and vegetables from the gardens. Fall - The beautiful colors, reds, oranges, yellows, etc. Winter - Snow is good if I can stay inside, but probably the best is Christmas and all the beautiful decorations and lights.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great spring day!
Cathy
Thanks for visiting my blog this morning and hope you will come back any time. Linda
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I'll be back.
DeleteOur Florida humidity is no fun at all lol. Happy Spring! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you too.
DeleteGreat answer. The Southern answer to humidity and hair ( Aqua Net Hairspray)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to remember that in the future.
DeleteOMG...my hair fades too!!! Love your answers!! Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jodi! Hope you are having a happy Tuesday too.
DeleteOh stop it ... you looked beautiful in those pictures at your daughter's wedding! (How are they doing, the newlyweds?) I love dandelions, too!
ReplyDeleteThey are doing great by all indications. They are very happy and awaiting the professional photos and video.
DeleteMe & humidity dont get along either - it makes my skin instantly sweat - hate that
ReplyDeleteFor sure the truth!!!
DeleteThe dandelions can be pretty. My great grandmother would make wine with them. Fresh fruit and vegetables is a great answer. I agree with you about Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYes, I know you love the Christmas lights and decorations too.
DeleteI can relate to the fading hair!! Nothing worse than rain for the hair and feeling wet and damp too.
ReplyDeleteYes, for sure!
DeleteI found a beautiful poem about dandelions one time. It is about how kids pick dandelions and give as gifts and how adults think they are weeds. It also talks about how they have strong roots like roots in God. It is beautiful. I looked for it to share with you, but I didn't find it. I have a special affinity for dandelions too. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

If you ever run across that poem, please share it. It sounds wonderful!
DeleteI enjoyed your answers, Cathy! I like dandelions too but we don't have them here in Florida. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terri. Hope you have a good week too.
