1. How will you spend 'the night before Christmas'?
At my sister's house with all of my family. There will be food and presents and good times had by all.
2. What is one thing you are not?
3. Fudge-are you a fan? Your favorite flavor?
I'm a fan and as I've said before my dad makes the best peanut butter fudge in the world.
4. Did you attend any craft/vendor fairs in the month of December? Do you prefer homemade goodies or the more professional stalls? Are you giving any homemade gifts this year?
I have not attended any in December. I like homemade stuff. No I'm not giving any homemade items this year. I have often in the past, but not this year.
5. What's your favorite type of holiday gathering?
One where there is family, good friends and good food.
6. We're approaching a new year...what's going to be different in 2013?
I'll be writing 2013 instead of 2012....I usually don't make resolutions, so that's about all I know right now. Guess I'll wait and see what the Lord has in store for me.
7. Share a favorite scripture, quote, saying, or song lyric relating to peace.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Isaiah 26:3 KJV I love this verse in the King James Version. When I read this question, this is the first thing that popped into my mind. Maybe this will be my "different" thing in 2013. Actually trying to live this verse.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
|I took some of your-all's advice and put a bow on top of my tree. I really love it.|
What a beautiful tree! I love the bow on top...maybe I will have to make one up today to put on top of my tree (it doesn't have anything on top right now either!) I Loooove peanut butter fudge - almost more than regular chocolate fudge! Thanks so much for sharing and linking up! Merry Christmas :)ReplyDelete
You're good - you did both... I knew I'd have too many pictures to do both posts :)ReplyDelete
PB Fudge... I remember you saying before how your dad's PB fudge is the best. That's my favorite kind. Glad i'm not near his fudge - I'd be 10 lbs bigger!
Yep - Just let God lead 2013 - love that!
Beautiful tree... it looks so clean & spotless... my house during Christmas is like a tornado!
I love that bow on top ... maybe I should do that next year. ;-)ReplyDelete
Beautiful tree. You are so right we must all let God lead.ReplyDelete
I may try to add a link later today. I did snap a few photos of the tree finally.ReplyDelete
Who could have imagined all this year would bring? So grateful my hope does not rest in this tired troubled world. And that in the midst of darkness we can indeed have hope!
Merry Christmas~enjoy time with your family!
The bow on top looks nice. I've never seen that done before.ReplyDelete
Great verse, and you have a beautiful tree! I went with a bow on top too this year. Merry Christmas!ReplyDelete
Beautiful verse and yes waiting on what the Lord wants you to do is a good way to start 2013. Love the bow BTW.ReplyDelete
I like your tree. Sorry no pictures of ours. We are downsizing so it is very little.ReplyDelete
I should have posted mine together. Not many people are going to my Hodgepodge today. Live and learn. Your tree looks amazing and beautiful! (I will have my Disney World post on Friday) We moved away from family 24 years ago. I miss those family evenings on Christmas Eve. Have you shared his fudge yet???? Love your verse. Merry Christmas!!!ReplyDelete
