We received 2 phone calls this morning telling us both girls' schools would be closed for the day. Yes, that's right. You guessed it. More snow! Yuck. Again, I had to get up and everyone else could stay in bed. I really don't like that. I know I've complained about that before. Anyway, I made it to work safely, with no problems driving. Thank You, Lord.
So, now I'm eating lunch at my desk and I have a window in my office (which I'm so thankful for) and it's beautiful outside now. It's no longer snowing. The sun is shining and the sky is so blue! I love it like this. I don't even mind the snow on the ground or the cold when the sun shines! I don't even mind that I'm at work and everyone else is home. My whole demeanor changes when the sun shines.
I think I need to work on remembering that even when the sun isn't shining, the Son is shining! Then maybe I wouldn't be so moody on a day like this one started out to be.
Thank You Lord for the reminder.
Sorry you had to go to work! I know that stinks! Glad the sun is shining!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is pretty I went outside several times last night and just watched it but I am ready for it to be over. I want spring and green and flowers. You know me I like snow but come on...I have had enough.
ReplyDeleteI need sunlight too. It really changes my outlook out life, but you're so right - it should be the sonlight changing my mood.

I dind mine under my google analytics. It tells number of visitors/ which day/ bounce rate/ length of time viewers are on your site. Bounce rate is how fast they click on your site and then click off. Mine is really fast...
ReplyDeleteThat is a good reminder! The Sun makes everything seem better! :)
