Porch Chattin'

Everyday Ruralty

It's time to come to the Front Porch for some Chatting. Click the button above to join in.

Bacon or sausage? If vegetarian, what do you have for breakfast?
Both please...but if I have to choose just one, then sausage.

Do you take time to "smell the roses"?
Probably not as much as I should.

What's your favorite stone fruit? (Peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, and cherries are i n the stone fruit family.)
All of them please...but again if I have to choose just one, then plums.

What is the thing people notice most about your personality? ( quiet- outgoing- polite-funny-etc.)
I'm a little shy when walking into a room full of people...but if just one person will start a conversation with me, then I can have and be a lot of fun.  At least, that's what I think.  Not really sure what other people think.

Is there a hobby that you have wanted to do, but haven't started yet?
I think I would like to try to make a quilt.  However, that will probably be a while yet before I do, because I'm really into crocheting right now.  And I'm even thinking of opening an ETSY shop to sell some of what I'm making.

Now, if you'd like to sit on the front porch and chat with us, just click the button above to join in...after you comment here, of course.  :)

  4. I wonder if anyone smells the roses as much as we should. That's kind of sad, isn't it? So exciting that you are going to open an ETSY shop... I wish you luck and lots of sales!

  5. Best wishes to you with the Etsy idea. I have an Etsy shop, but nothing in it at this point. I tried to sell one of my digital art pieces, but I guess it was too morbid for anyone to want. :) Let me know how it works out for you!

I love to crochet, too. :)

I enjoyed your post and love the butterfly on the left side of your page. Beautiful! Have a great week.

  7. I could have written your answer about shyness. ;-)

If I can help when you finally get ready to make that first quilt, you know my email address. ;-) If you can sew, you can quilt! ;-)
