Thankful Thursday.

http://www.knitbygodshand.com/2015/06/thankful-thursday-little-different-today.html

Today I am thankful for:

*  I got my blood drawn for lab work this morning and they got it on the first stick and I shouldn't have to do this again until January.  Yay!

*  the good Bible Studies we've been having on Wednesday nights at Church.  My hubby is such a good teacher.  He brings it down to my level.

*  that hubby doesn't mind answering my questions at home either.

*  God's been waking me up in the morning to read his word and to get in a walk too.  I'm so glad to be walking again.  I don't know why I stopped, other than being lazy.

*  that hubby and I are starting to cook more at home and not eat out so much.  It's better for our budget and for our waists!

*  that the new season of Duck Dynasty has started again.  It always makes me laugh, but mostly it's so nice to hear them pray and not be afraid to mention the name of Jesus.

*  the beautiful day we had yesterday.  Not super hot, low humidity and beautiful blue skies.  Today is not as nice, but I'm still thankful for a new day.

So that's my list for this week.  What are you thankful for?

  1. Yesterday was beautiful here too....
Good for you for walking again... & getting up early to spend time with God. I need more of that in my life.

  2. I'm hitting or missing my early morning walks...it's just been too hot & humid, even at 6:00! Just letting the dogs out at 5:30 has me sweating! :)
Yay for getting stuck on the 1st try! :)

  3. So many things alike for us...love my Bible study, but on Tuesdays...the Lord's been getting me up early every day to give me time to spend in prayer and study (I really should throw some walking in there)...trying to cook more at home here, too...and I couldn't be more tickled that the new Duck Dynasty season has begun (did you see that Jep and Jessica have released a book about their story now, too...I've read them ALL so far).

  4. Yay for the one-stick blood draw. The last couple of times I've had to have blood drawn, they were able to get it in one stick ... far from the usual exploration they have to do to find a vein. :-(
