Thankful Thursday

Joining in with Rebecca for Thankful Thursday.  Click here if you'd like to also.

I'm thankful for:

*another long 3 day weekend which was quiet and very relaxing for the most part.

*a new day and a new year and the chance to start fresh with intentionally being grateful for all God has done and is doing for me day to day.

*Sleeping in and having a lazy morning with my hubby and puppy on Monday.

*A beautiful, sunshiny day outside my dirty car window even though it’s so cold.

* Lunch with hubby’s parents.

*Evening at home. Took down the tree, did some laundry. Not fun but thankful it’s done.

*Really good night's sleep and then back to work.

*Thankful I can listen to Pandora at work and hear the southern gospel music I love.

*Having lunch ready for the next 3 days. Yummy potato soup.

*Chili for supper made by a sweet friend at church.

*Our warm house.  I just feel so blessed in our home.

*Fun times with the folks at church tonight, learning and laughing together.  I just love these people so much.

So, what are you thankful for this week?

  1. "Our warm house. I just feel so blessed in our home."

Great minds think alike! :) Me, too.

  2. I am thankful for all God's blessings. My family and today my daughter, Gina, cane and carried all my totes to the storage building outside, so Christmas is cleaned up for another year. I am thankful for heat on these cold frigid days!

    1. That was so sweet of your daughter. You are blessed for sure.

  3. I am so thankful every night for our warm home&think of all those who suffer in the cold. Breaks my heart.
I've been craving potato soup. Mmmm

    1. It is terrible to think there are people out in this cold.

  4. Yumm, the picture made me want to make some potato soup....next chilly night. So very thankful for my family, my recovery from knee surgery, now I walk normal. Our church is a blessing, good preaching, wonderful friends, a ladies bible study which I so enjoy. Our ministry, now that I can travel we are off in a few days for a two week trip visiting six missionaries. It will tiring but fulfilling. Happy New Year

    1. So wonderful that you can walk normally again. Have fun visiting your friends.

  5. What a great post to start off the new year. We have so much to be thankful for and I never want to take it for granted. Wishing you a wonderful 2018!
