"Pretense" by Lori Wick
3. One TV Series You'd Watch Over & Over Again?
NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Star Trek Voyager and Next Generation and Babylon 5
4. One Song You'd Listen To Over & Over Again?
This can continually change, but probably "It Is Well" and most Disney music.
Cathy
Hi Cathy and it's nice to meet you via this meme. White Christmas is a good movie and I love "It Is Well" also. I'm not familiar with the book you mention. My husband is a BIG NCIS fan!
ReplyDeleteHope to visit again soon.
Hi Laurel, thanks for visiting.
DeleteI forgot to list White Christmas. We watch it on Christmas Eve along with It's a Wonderful Life. It's funny that those are TV series I've never watched. "It Is Well" is a beautiful song.
ReplyDeleteI remember watching White Christmas as a kid and then watching with our kids and hubby and I still usually make time to watch it each year.
DeleteI like White Christmas too and look forward to watching it during the Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteIt's a classic. What a wonderful cast!!
DeleteThank you for your recent visit to my blog! I am enjoying discovering new blog friends.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a grandma yet (maybe next year), but my grandma name will be Gigi (that's for Grandma Gardner). Currently, I am Gigi to my son's beagle.
My daughter and I have been watching White Christmas every Christmas for almost a decade. Love it!!
Blessings,
Patti
Hi Patty. Being a Gigi is a wonderful thing. My daughter is the one who gave me the name Gigi for her son. I love it.
DeleteSomeone recently did an updated version of It Is Well (Casting Crowns?) that I really like, but it's a good one no matter who sings it.
ReplyDeleteWhite Christmas is a must watch during the holidays for me, too!
I love the story of how that song was written. It is so sad, but also so wonderful that no matter what, he still knew it was well with his soul. Look up Henry Spafford if you haven't heard the story. It is well worth the read.
DeleteIt's A Wonderful Life is mine!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good one too.
DeleteI'm with Chatty Crone. I love "It's a Wonderful Life." It is Well with My Soul is one of my favorite hymns. And I love Star Trek too. But I also like watching the shows on HGTV and Food Network over and over.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching HGTV and Food Network too.
DeleteOh, Rizzoli and Isles! I was disappointed when that show went off the air. The movie I've watched over and over is Apollo 13. I love the relationship between Jim and Marilyn Lovell, the technical terms used with the launch, and even though I know how it ends, I believe the celebration scene (when the astronauts are heard right before splashdown) is one of the best in cinematic history!
ReplyDeleteI debated putting Apollo 13. Hubby and I have watched it many, many times. But White Christmas is the one I've watch the most.
DeleteI work in the school office every Tuesday morning...I am in the classroom during the day...anyway, we had on Pandora and It is Well was playing while I was working in the office, so it played in my head for several hours. That is a good thing! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I use Pandora at work all the time.
DeleteRizzoli and Isles I keep forgetting about his one, need to see if I can find it on demand to catch up! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI think we are watching it on Netflix or maybe Prime.
DeleteI'm a classic movie fan but I have a confession to make: I get Holiday Inn and White Christmas mixed up! Which one has Danny Kaye?
ReplyDeleteWhite Christmas has Danny Kaye. Bing Crosby is in both.
DeleteDisney Music- yes yes yes!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's the best!
DeleteEnjoyed reading your answers and hope you're having a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am. Hope you are too.
