With all that's going on in this world, it's so important to remember to be thankful. No matter if good or bad is happening, God is still worthy of our praise. He still has us in his hands and will never leave us.
**I'm so thankful that spring seems to be coming in now. The skies were blue yesterday and it was warm enough to walk the dog without a coat. So blessed.
**I've been enjoying the birds singing. It seems like they are singing more this year, or maybe I'm just noticing it more when I'm out. I love that the birds keep singing and looking for food and doing what birds do and letting God take care of them. I think that's what I need to do and am trying to do. Be sensible but just trust that God is in control and is not in the least bit surprised by all that's going on. I'm so glad I know the One that knows it all and controls it all! So thankful I can call Him Father!
**I'm thankful for good health for my hubby and me and also all of our extended family. God is so good!!
So what are you thankful for this week?
Cathy
I have been enjoying the birdsong more this spring too. Just today, while out for a walk in the woods, my husband and I heard a waterthrush - what a beautiful melody!
ReplyDeleteThe birds here too, maybe they are trying to tell us something? (I repeated this to my husband and he said, "You think?"--I think he was being kind of like, not really paying attention to me/my comment, lol.)
ReplyDeleteWe took a walk today, oh my gosh, it felt good to break the rules, wink.
We have been painting the wood for the bathroom ceiling outside in the yard today and it is just glorious out there...sunny skies, singing birds, green grass, and flowers beginning to pop up. It's even warm enough for no coat. Spring is finally with us!!
ReplyDeleteI loved your video of the birds chirping... working from home, I have a bird feeder outside my window & have had birds looking at me all day long - I Love seeing them & hearing all the sounds
ReplyDeleteSo true! The Spring weather and the singing birds have really been nice.
