Project 365

Click on the Project 365 button above to join Sara and friends for pictures they've taken each day so far this year.

I didn't do so well this week. I missed several days. But here's what I do have.

Monday - June 1st. This is my little farm on FarmTown which is a game I've become addicted to on FaceBook. I blogged about that a few days ago.

Wednesday - June 3 It was getting late and I was trying to find a picture to take. KLS was on the computer but ran around the corner and hid when I brought the camera out. She peeked around & this is what I got!!

Thursday - June 4 KJS watching TV with her Ohio State blanket and Tennessee hoodie.

Friday - June 5 The girls riding the log flume at Kings Island!

Saturday - June 6 Our public library - this is one of my most favorite places. I've been coming here since I was a little girl. I love the library!!

Since I missed a couple days, I thought I'd show an extra picture or two. This was Friday night at Kings Island. I love this picture of the moon.

KLS took these 2 pictures tonight while we were visiting my parents. We were inside and the kids were outside and this flew over. They came in and got my camera but didn't say why. This is why. Maybe I should just give her my camera because she really gets some good shots. If you double click these pictures, you can see the people in the gondola!

Come for a walk with me down Memory Lane!
And if you have a "Memory Lane" post, head on over to Scottsville to join in on the fun!

Like last week I've made this another one of those then and now photos for the Walk Down Memory Lane. Here are the girls in front of a fountain in EPCOT in June of 2004 and below are 2 pictures of the girls in front of a fountain in EPCOT in August of 2009.

Peonies

Last week was fun week for flowers. It started with my brother giving his wife a dozen yellow roses for her birthday. See aren't they beautiful
Then my sister gave me the pink roses pictured in an earlier post. Then we bought and planted the flowers outside our home. The baskets were in a previous post and then there are marigolds and gerber daises and wave petunias, etc.

My dad gathered these peonies from my brother's yard and put them in the vase and brought them to church so we had fresh flowers up in front during Sunday service a week ago. He actually did 2 bouquets. He asked if I wanted these and of course I said yes. Aren't they beautiful. The vase is mom's and dad told her I was going to keep the vase because I had told him I loved it. He was only teasing her, but she told me to keep it because it had sat in the garage for the last year without being used. I was so thrilled. I absolutely love this vase. Now I need to get some more flowers to put in it.
Then after the 8th grade graduation where we served the cake and punch they gave me a blue dyed carnation. I seldom receive flowers and then to get that many in a week or two was awesome! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I'm Addicted

Yes, it's true. I'm addicted to Farmtown on Facebook. I resisted for a long time, but I fell victim to it last week and now I'm hooked. That's part of the reason I haven't been on here as much lately. Have you tried it yet. It's actually a lot of fun. But before I realize it, I've spent an hour playing with that little farm.
Hi, my name is Cathy and I'm a Farmtown Addict!! hahaha
