Thankful Thursday

So glad to have Rebecca back this week after all she has been through in the past couple of months.  You may click the button above to participate in Thankful Thursday.

This week I am thankful for:

**my new phone.  It has room for lots more pictures!!!!  And the camera is supposed to be a lot better too!

**an app called Marco Polo.  I prefer live chat, but my older daughter prefers this and at least I get to see her face and she's talking to me a lot more than with text, phone or live chat.  I'll take it.

**Thankful for a short video chat with my grandson on Monday.  Mommy handed him the phone and he ran around the house and most of the time I could only see his ear or other bits and pieces or he'd drop it or he'd hang up and mommy would have to call me back.  But it was fun anyway and at least he smiled when he talked to papaw.  lol

**Bible study last night at church.  We talked about child-like faith and what that really means.  One thing it means is praying and really expecting God to answer.  I'm asking God to help me to expect more from Him and just really to believe it if He says it.  I love these people and all the good conversation we have when learning more about God and His word and living with and for Him.

So what are you thankful for this week?

  2. Sounds like a wonderful week and good things to be thankful for. I am thankful for our safe trip to and from Maine this past week for our grandson's graduation. It turned out even better than we could have dreamed. I am thankful now to be home and "resting" today...and for much needed rain. God is good.
