Easter always brings fun memories...new dresses for us girls and also for our girls. Beautiful flowers blooming, warmer weather, spring break and knowing school would soon be out for the summer.
2. April showers bring May flowers...was that saying proven true where you live? Snapdragons, anemones, carnations, lilacs, sweet peas, tulips, lily of the valley, orchids, roses, gardenias...which one on that list is your favorite May bloom?
Yes, it's true and I have see some beautiful blooms, especially the trees and the magnolias, plus I also like the yellow dandelions. Here are some photos I've taken this spring.
3. What are your top three distractions and how do you deal with them?
FB, Instagram are probably my biggest time users, but I enjoy them and I just try not to be ridiculous about them.
4. Do you eat beef? Yummy! Yes!! In the course of a week, how often is beef on the menu? Probably at least 3-4 times in some form or other. A hamburger, steak, prime rib, or a roast beef dinner...which beef entree would you choose and yes you have to choose. Unless you're a vegan, and then you may pass. I like them all, but prime rib is probably my favorite, although I don't eat it often.
5. In what way were you creative during the month of April? Making hats and now making scrunchies (ponytail holders).
6. Insert your own random thought here. If you're wondering why I am making all of these things, my sister and I have signed up to have a table at a craft show in the fall. Also, I'm hoping this fall to re-open my Etsy shop. Plus I'm sure we'll donate hats again for Christmas.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
Cathy
Whenever my parents took us out for special occasions when I was young, I'd get the prime rib but I haven't had it in years!
ReplyDeleteIt's been quite awhile since I've had it too. But I do really love it.
DeleteI enjoyed your answers, smiles. Things are blooming here too-I just haven't had time to take photos. smiles
ReplyDeleteMost of my pictures get taken in the car or when I'm walking the dog. lol Hope things will slow down for you soon, but I'm sure with you maybe moving it may be awhile.
DeleteThose are very cute hats and wish I had learned to do that. I like Prime Rib too, but probably have only had it a very few times. Nice photos of the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteNice hats
ReplyDeleteThank you
DeleteYour hats are so cute. I suspect you are creative every month. Good luck with your plans for the sale and to reopen. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThank you Joyce.
DeleteI love dandelions, too. What a shame they get such a bad rap!
ReplyDeleteI know...it's rather sad.
DeleteYour hats and scrunchies are all great! Keep us posted about the Etsy shop! I enjoyed your Hodgepodge today!!
ReplyDeleteI will let you know.
Deletelove your spring photos!!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI too thought of Easter. Spring has definitely sprung! Prime rib is so good. I'm surprised how many people eat beef throughout the week. Having heart issues they actually say "once a month" but I can't do that. Most likely once a week. Love your random, they are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe probably shouldn't eat it as often as we do. I don't really know.
DeleteCute hats and scrunchies! Easter is the best part of Spring for sure. Nodding my head as I read your answers.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThose cherry trees are just gorgeous! (I hope that's what they are!)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don't know. I just think they are so pretty.
DeleteI knit, too! Lots of hats. Right now, I am working on finding some good patterns for chemo hats. NICU hats are easy and quick too.
ReplyDeleteI love dandelions--they're not weeds! They're wonderful spring flowers.
Enjoy the rest of April.
I agree about the dandelions. Have a great day.
DeleteGreat pictures!!! I like your hats. It doesn't get to cold here to have to wear hats very often. I love all the colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan
