A Sentence A Day - June 2021

I did not keep up with A Sentence A Day in June.  I really don't know why, but I just didn't.  It's July 2nd now, so let me see what I can come up with.  We actually had a fairly quiet month, so I guess there really wasn't all that much to write about each day.   We worked and then came home and spent the majority of the evenings just doing home things.  I just checked Good Reads and found out I read or listened to the audio version of 7 books in June (guess I've got my reading mojo back some).  Currently I'm re-reading the books by Lori Wick.  She is one of my favorite authors, although I don't believe she writes anymore.  We took my sister shopping most Saturdays and went to church on Sunday and most times took an afternoon nap.  We lost 4 family members and 2 friends in June.  Praying for all of their families.  We also found out that we're going to have a new nephew in December which is very exciting.

Well that's about it.  Hopefully, I'll do better with a daily sentence for July.

    1. I didn't want to skip it all together, so I did this. At least I have some of the stuff from the month.

  4. Remembering what we did each day of the month is so hard!
That is so sad about all the loss you and your friends have experienced, so sorry.
By this time of the summer I would normally be on my 3rd book by now but this summer I have read ZERO.

  6. So sorry to hear that you have had so many losses in the last month. It must have been wonderful to hear that there was a happy event to look forward to at the end of the year.

  7. What a difficult month for you with the loss of many dear folks. Not sure that impacted your sentence writing but it would certainly have affected my interest in doing anything.
Hope July is a kinder, gentler month for you and those you love. Will look forward to reading your sentences in August!!

  9. I haven't been in much of a book reading mood lately though I've did some blog reading. A lot of days seems like all we do around our place too, is work & home things. Those afternoon naps sound good to me, that's one thing I enjoyed doing with the younger Grands when they visited was taking a nap along with them. Karen
