Thankful Thursday

 Good Morning:

I love to take time to say thanks to God for all He does for me.  This scripture is a favorite this week. The Lord is definitely good and I don't understand how people can go through hard times without Him.  I'm so glad I can talk to Him anytime and anywhere.  You can trust Him for sure always and forever.

**I am really enjoying my journaling/coloring Bible.  Here are some pages I colored from the book of Ruth.  I love the book of Ruth.  It really shows how God is working things out in our life before we even know about the problem we may be facing.

**I'm thankful to have had the time to watch a movie and have a cup of hot chocolate because of a snow day on Monday.  For the first time in many years I am enjoying snow (not necessarily being in it, but looking at it from inside.    It's so beautiful and I don't even mind shoveling it.  Since I no longer have to get out and drive in it to go to work, I can just enjoy the beauty.  And that is what I'm doing.

**Believe it or not, I'm thankful for having a good dentist.  Now, I really, really hate going to the dentist, but I'm thankful that my dentist is good and takes good care of my teeth.  Actually, I've been seeing him for years, but now I'm seeing his daughter.  Nice to keep it in the family.

  3. Love your Bible and your coloring. I had a Bible like that a few years ago. I now have another one...enjoyed doing that one but I wrote in it so much, I could hardly read the scriptures...I put prayer requests and notes in my Bible. Like your blog too.

  4. That's a great cocoa mug! I never thought I'd use the words 'love' and 'dentist' in the same sentence, but that's the way I feel about my new dental office; I even referred to Tom him. Blesssed!

  5. I enjoy snow more when I don't have to get out in it too. But now, I live too far south and seldom see snow anymore. I laughed when I saw your statement about being thankful for your dentist, but it's true. A good dentist, or doctor, makes our lives so much better. When my mother moved here last year, we've tried out a lot of doctors and it was so nice to go to my doctor this week and know that I can completely trust that he puts my welfare, not my payment, first.

  8. Such a beautiful Bible and the coloring pages are such a great idea! I love the book of Ruth too. Probably my favorite of the Old Testament stories. Happy for you to have snow and not have to go out in it unless you want to. That would be my choice too. Dentist? Yikes, I haven't been in so long and really have no desire to go. That's all I'll say about that subject. Happy for you, however. Have a blessed day!

  9. I'm with you on the snow. It's pretty to look at if you don't have to go out in it. I finally found a dentist I like after looking for about 5 years. Having a dentist or doctor you like makes a world of difference.

  11. Hi Cathy, I used to really hate going to the dentist. But I have a good insurance and want to keep my teeth for as long as possible! I pray a lot when I am there! Glad you are enjoying your Bible journal. My journaling Bible only has blank pages that I add to. I love that Bible verse! Enjoy the weekend!
