I'm thankful for my Lucy and I love her in her winter sweater. I've bought her a new one but haven't put it on her yet. I think I will on Christmas morning.
I'm thankful for time with hubby and going out and looking at Christmas lights. Christmas lights bring so much joy to so many people. I'm also very thankful that Jesus came to earth and brought joy and light to all who believe in Him and choose Him as their Savior. The best Christmas gift ever. Below are a couple of homes decorated in our town.
I love this Nativity. |

Oh, I love seeing the lights!! And your church looks so pretty with the lights as well. That picture reminds me of our church because we have the TV screens just like that. Your Lucy looks warm and cozy in her pretty sweater! I hope you have a warm and cozy Christmas!!! Thank you for sharing the lights of the town with us. It helps us to remember that Jesus is the Light of the World!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam. I think it will be very cold for Christmas and probably some snow on the ground for us. I hope you have a very good time with your kids on Christmas.
DeleteLucy is so pretty in her sweet little sweater! I love looking at lights as you do- and the pictures you took of the homes are great. I love snowflake lights that hang on that picture of the house with the front porch. Your candlelight and carols service looks and sounds beautiful! I hope you have a great day, my friend. ❤
ReplyDeleteI like those lights on the house too. We went out again last night and saw some more really beautiful homes.
DeleteI love the lights at Christmas! We have been walking around our neighborhood in the evenings and enjoying all the decorations.
ReplyDeleteIf we lived closer to your town, I would have loved joining in your sing.
We would have loved having you too. We did have people from other churches visit with us too. We have a Hymn Sing on the last Sunday evening of each month. We really love that too and usually have people coming from other churches that don't have Sunday night services. That's really lots of fun too. I love the old hymns.
DeleteThe Christmas lights -- both on homes and in the sanctuary -- are so pretty! Now I'm wishing I'd thought to buy sweaters for Macie and Grace. (Maybe it's not too late!)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's not. I got Lucy's at Wally World.
DeleteCandlelight services are always so beautiful and good for the soul!! Ours will be Christmas eve. Thanks for sharing all the lovely lighted decorations!! Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Terri and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Eve Service!
DeleteI love your home and it looks so festive. I love that porch! Lucy looks so comfy. My dog hates to wear seaters. Your church looks so nice! Our church is big and does not have pews. We have comfy single chairs that can be stacked. Then the room can hold tables for special events. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThose houses above are not our house. They are from homes in our town. We drove around after church looking at lights and took a couple of pictures. We definitely have a pretty town with many beautiful old homes.
DeleteLucy looks so cute. I love the lights on the houses you saw. The church looks so pretty. I love a candlelight service. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debby.
